What does the schedule for the fair day look like?

Here is the full schedule for the fair day:

07.00: Exhibitors (you) may start arriving to set up their booth

07.15: Exhibitor’s wardrobe opens (room 2001). Ask your host to lead you.

08.00: Exhibitor’s lounge opens (room 101127, 101130), breakfast will be available.

09.00: Fair opens

11.00 - 14.00: Lunch time. You will be scheduled for lunch for one hour during this time. Two classrooms in house 10.

15.00: Exhibitor’s lounge closes

15.30: The fair closes

16.30: Exhibitor wardrobe closes

18.30: Banquet at Norrlands Nation

When and where will the banquet be held?

The banquet will be held at Norrlands Nation, Västra Ågatan 14. Norrlands opens its doors at 18:00 and dinner will be served at 19:00. Please do not arrive later than 18.30 or you will not be let in. The banquet will last until around 22:30 and after that there will be a dancefloor.

When will we get banquet tickets?

If you have ordered tickets for the banquet you are on a list and will be checked in when arriving, simply state your name and company.

What times are the goods reception open?

Monday: 2025-11-03, 08.00-11:30, 12:30-15:00

Tuesday: 2025-11-04, 08.00-11:30, 12:30-15:00

Wednesday: 2025-11-05, 08.00-11:30, 12:30-15:00

What if our goods arrive before November 3rd?

The exhibitor is responsible for goods if they arrive before November 3rd and storage before this date will incur an additional fee of 1000 SEK per day.

Will there be Wi-Fi available?

You will be able to use a Wi-Fi network called UU-Guest. You can find more information about this here:

Will there be any lounges?

There will be lounge areas in rooms 101127 and 101130 for the exhibitors that are open 08.00-15.00. Here you can take a break from the fair and get fika, sandwiches, fruit, water, coffee and tea. Many options will be vegan and gluten free.

When and where will the lunch be served?

Lunch will be served between 11-14. In the morning you will receive your lunch tickets from your corporate host. On the ticket your specific lunch time will be stated. It is important that you eat at the right time! For help with directions to the lunch location, please ask your corporate host or any of the other staff. The corporate host will guide you to the lunch. If you haven’t ordered enough lunch tickets, you can purchase lunch at Café Ångström or at the nearby Hemköp. You can also buy an extra lunch ticket in the reception, note that the number of extra lunch tickets are limited.

Who is my main contact person during the fair?

You have a corporate host assigned to you who will help you during the day with any practical issues. If you set up your exhibitor booth in the morning right before the fair, the host will be available to help you. However, most corporate hosts are responsible for two companies and will also need some time to visit the fair so they may not be at your side all day. It might be helpful to get their number or other contact information if anything urgent comes up and they’re not there.

How can I get to the fair using public transport?

The closest bus station is Polacksbacken. Bus line 4 traffics this bus stop from the central station. To get a ticket and plan your journey, use the UL app.

Is there a possibility to assemble our booth before the fair day?

If you want to deliver your goods and assemble your booth the evening before the fair, the 5th of November, you can do so from 19:00 to 22:30. Use the entrance located on the east side of house 10.

What time can we arrive at the fair?

During the fair day, the 6th of November, you are welcome to the facilities at Ångströmslaboratoriet from 7:00 to start assembling your booth. The fair will then start at 9:00.

Where will the fair take place?

The fair will be at the Ångström laboratory in house 10 (the big glass building). The address is Lägerhyddsvägen 1, Uppsala.

How much electricity can I use during the fair?

To avoid power outages at the fair, it is crucial that you visit your personal link and ensure you have specified how much electricity you will require at the fair. We will approve up to 100 W per outlet you've requested, but we may not be able to accommodate higher amounts. Please note that you cannot change your requested power amount if you already have submitted this.
